Are classes covered by insurance?
Insurance coverage for prenatal education classes varies widely depending on your plan. Many plans will provide partial reimbursement and we encourage you to save your receipt and request a certificate of completion to submit to your insurance company. Please contact your insurance company directly if you have any questions.
Can I bring my baby to class?
All of our breastfeeding classes and support groups welcome nursing babies.
Should my partner attend Breastfeeding classes with me?
Partners are strongly encouraged to attend Breastfeeding classes as the class format is designed to address the alternate caregivers role in the breastfeeding relationship. However, if you choose not to bring a partner you will likely not be the only one. Please feel free to bring someone instead of a partner like a sister or another support person.
What should I bring/ wear to my childbirth class?
Please wear loose comfortable clothing and bring a pillow or two (comfort measures).
Please plan to arrive early as classes will start promptly at their specified time.
